Ultrafine Grinding Mill-Why the fineness of finished product getting coarse?Posted: 2019-07-02

Recently we received some feedbacks from our cumstomers. One of the concerns is Why the fineness of output powder getting coarse?

Here we would like to explain the possible reasons and give you solutions.(Please noted:this article only applies to CLIRIK HGM/XZM/SCM series micro powder grinding mill)

Reason 1: The classifier has overload current and stop out of run automatically

Solution: Stop the machine to adjust the overload protection value on VDF; Start classifier, adjust the rotation speed.

Reason 2:The gap between classifier blades getting larger

Solution: Stop the machine, open classifier and adjust the gap

Method of operation：

Disassembly of classifier impeller

First understand the structure of the separator, as shown in Figure 1.

1) Shut down machine; remove cable on the motor, take off motor, shell and connection bolts, then take off

the upper part of classifier.

1) Put the part on the ground in a safe way; protective measures should be taken to avoid hurting someone;

2) Remove the two round nuts (No.1) and stop washer at the end of the spindle.

3) Make an easy puller and pull the impeller out as shown in Figure 1. Don’t hit forcibly to avoid damage.

4) Turn the bearing sleeve (No.2) slightly and take it off.

Principle of wearing parts installation

1) Installation of wearing parts (shaft pins, turn plates,rollers and rings):

 Connect the ring and the body to the keyway position and fasten the body with bolts;

 Put rollers in the turn plate, hoist turn plate on the main shaft., as shown in Figure 2.

 Assemble the spindles. The spindles should not be higher than the above surface of turn plate;

 install the upper distribution plate and main shaft nut.

2) Installation of classifier impeller:

 Dynamic balance correction has been committed before delivery.

 Clean the shaft surface before installation.

 Hit the classifier impeller gently into its position by a hammer if blocked.

 When fix the round nut and stop washer back, ensure all of them being locked tightly.

3) Procedure of classifier impeller gap adjustment:

 After opening the classifier, measure the gap value between the impeller and the upper plane of the classifier;

 According to the removal procedure of the impeller of the classifier according to above, remove the impeller and

take out the bushing;

 Machining the lower surface of the bushing, as shown in Figure 1, ensuring that the impeller assembly

gap is between 0.4 and 0.6 mm;

 Finally, replace each part in turn.
